Kate is currently in Luckau (Brandenburg) to shoot scenes there in a prison. After that, from March 30 until April 11, she will be in Cologne, Cologne-City and Huerth to shoot scenes for the The Reader.

Wow….she is soo lucky she get to go to Germany….thnk 4 he update!
I think this is the longest Kate has been away from home filming since she’s had kids. I know it’s tough being away from family for so long, but perhaps this time away will allow Kate to become totally immersed in her character.
She is a busybody! Seeing the world, and all! Though I don’t know these places in Germany–I bet Germany and the filming will change her! When she arrives back home; and when it gets closer to movie release time, hopefully, she will have some great stories from Germany and from filming!
