Hi everybody! First of all, my name is Luciana and I will be helping Holly to update KWF. As you may noticed, we’re experiencing some issues on our gallery, some pictures are missing probably from an old server moving, and we’ll working to get everything fixed. Soon the gallery will be at full power.
I have added a few pictures of the latest events Kate attended last year, as you can see below:
Public Appearances > Other Appearances > Commander of the Order of the British Empire

Kate Winslet walked the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall last Tuesday, March 27, looking every inch the Hollywood movie star thanks to a full-length gown in black silk crepe with Swarovski crystal cap sleeves and matching waist detail. Rose DeWitt Bukater would be proud. Although the beautiful English rose was without co-star Leonardo DiCaprio on her arm, she flawlessly accessorized the look with a striking red lip and her blonde tresses swept into a classic retro style. As for those sparkly jewels, the 1950s diamond Day and Night earrings, bracelet and 1940s yellow square cut cocktail ring are from English jewellery house, Goode & Son. Yep, 15 years after playing the iconic role, Kate looks as breathtaking as ever.
The gorgeous gown for the night’s premiere comes courtesy of Jenny Packham and is inspired by the British designer’s Autumn Winter 2012 Film Noir collection. When the collection hit the catwalk in New York last month, we were bowled over by the femme fatale frocks with plunging necklines and crystal embellishments that suit La Winslet’s old school glamour to perfection. Because, of course, Kate is a long-time fan of Packham’s work, having worn several of her designs on red carpets across the globe.

Please read: I’ve been extremely ill lately, so please bare with me if updates are slow. I have more updates coming soon, just please be patient.
The British actress was the recipient of this year’s honorary César, presented to her by Michel Gondry after a retrospective of her career, to a standing ovation. The French filmmaker, who directed her in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, gave a rather unusual bilingual speech. “Ma chère Kate, Kitty, Kitty Cat, it’s never too late to win a César…” The French part of his speech recognized her as a talent, while the English part amply praised her cleavage and derrière! “Michel was my introduction to French cinema,” Winslet said afterwards. But she seemed even more proud to have worked with Roman Polanski (in Carnage) and wanted to remind everyone twice. “I’m going to say it again, I worked for Roman Polanski!” and ended her speech in the local tongue: “Merci de votre gentillesse et cette charmante soirée!” (Thank you for your kindness and this charming evening.)
She wore a stunning Jenny Packham dress to the event. Correction: Kate wore a stunning Van Cleef & Arpels dress along with the Virevolte earrings in yellow gold and diamonds and the Galuchat bracelet in yellow gold and diamonds.

Kate Winslet had a front-row seat at St. John’s runway show during NY Fashion Week last Friday, February 10. She’s the current face of the brand and stepped out with St. John designer George Sharp for the opening night of CFDA’s new exhibition celebrating 50 years at the Fashion Institute of Technology on Thursday. Kate chose a black dress for the event and a leather look in the same hue for the night’s presentation.

Kate Winslet joined the many famous faces at NY Fashion Week as she stepped out in the Big Apple last Thursday, February 9. She attended the opening of CFDA’s new exhibition at FIT called “Impact: 50 Years of the CFDA”. Kate, who is the current face of St. John, wore a fitted black dress from the line and was accompanied by St. John designer George Sharp and CFDA CEO Steven Kolb for the occasion. Also on hand to see the work on display were Prabal Gurung, Vera Wang, Lorraine Schwartz, and Anna Wintour.

Mildred Pierce actor Guy Pearce was presented the Film and Television Award by his lovely co-star Kate Winslet yesterday, January 14.
Upon being doted with the accolade, Pearce said, “I’m honored and a bit embarrassed about both events to be honest.”
Miss Winslet then said, “I have to resist killing Guy’s wife Kate because she gets to wake up every day with Mike from Neighbors. I was in love with Mike. I would fake illness to skip school and watch Neighbors at 1:45pm and then the repeat at 5:30pm. I only just found out you were also in Home And Away. Thank God I didn’t know that then or I wouldn’t have gotten a f**king education!”
To this, Pearce got a laugh from the crowd as he shot back, “I hope you don’t think kind words like that means we’ll get to have sex again. You can’t turn up to these things and expect a free ride.”
